JOINING THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION SCOTLAND
You can join the Legion by either a Local Branch or Headquarters Branch membership.
HOW DO YOU APPLY
Serving, TA, Ex-service, Merchant Navy, Bevin Boys and those who have served in the HM Forces of an Allied Nation (during hostilities) – you can become an Ordinary Member with full voting rights.
LOCAL BRANCH
Your application is sent to the Branch nearest to your home address, via National Headquarters in Edinburgh. The current Capitation Fee is £5.50, plus a small Branch Subscription. Please do not forward any cost until you hear from the Branch Secretary.

HEADQUARTERS BRANCH
For those who wish to join but refrain from activities, signify your wish to join the Edinburgh Headquarters Branch. The current capitation fee (£5.50) plus a Branch Subscription of £4.00 should be enclosed. A cheque or postal order for £9.50 made payable to “Headquarters Branch RBLS” should be enclosed with the application.
Transfer to a Local Branch can be made at any time. For Associate Membership, the fee is £10.00. |
We also have an Associate Category membership who support the policy and objects of the Legion, but do not qualify for Ordinary Membership (as above). Should you wish to join under this category please complete the application. Non Ex-Service is £6.00
